Living the #1

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. —Matt 22:37-40 (NIV)

If you ask us what we are about you might hear, “Living the #1,” which is the Greatest Command (found in Matthew 22:37-40). Lives are transformed by loving the God who loved us and gave us salvation through His Son. God’s love for us and our love for Him is what shapes our remembrance in communion, praise and encouragement in worship, participation with Christ in baptism, living in the community of believers, being missional in the community we live in, and being shaped by the hope we have in Christ’s return. As we wait for Christ’s wonderful return we want to be examples, mentors, advocates, and promoters of the Christian home through our worship service, Bible classes, missions, and activities.
